Career Gear
Summary
Career Gear Houston, a national non-profit, with a small team was able to scale and streamline operations with the help of TIEIT. Using TIEIT’s automation module, Career Gear expanded its impact without increasing its workforce, driving cost savings and a strong return on investment (ROI).
The Challenge
After Jamay Schardien started as Career Gear’s Executive Director, she spent two years shuffling spreadsheets, adopting manual processes and trying to figure out how to efficiently grow the non-profit.
Meanwhile, Career Gear’s client base was expanding quickly. Jamay realized it needed to streamline operations and grow without hiring more people.
“I knew there was a problem, and we needed something different. The biggest pushback for me was how the change would happen.”
The How
Using TIEIT’s CRM, Career Gear is able to collect, organize, and analyze client data more effectively. It enabled personalized communication and better service delivery, directly contributing to client satisfaction and success rates.
As Career Gear’s services expanded, TIEIT’s platform scaled alongside, accommodating increased client numbers from 473 clients in 2013 to over 3,300 now.
A key strategy in using TIEIT’s platform is using Automations to eliminate manual work.
Career Gear was able to utilize these key modules in TIEIT:
Jamay said, “The beauty of TIEIT’s automation is it challenges you. You have to think, ‘can I set this up as an automation?’ It makes us think through processing through our workflow and some of our standard operating procedures. It has made us a better, more effective organization.”
